    [rtl]The Iraqi Ministry of Planning approved maps for the creation and organization of administrative boundaries for 6 districts in Baghdad and Kirkuk.[/rtl]
    [rtl]The ministry stated in a statement received by "Al-Eqtisad News" that "Minister of Planning Mohammed Tamim approved the map for establishing the Al-Rabi' district within the Al-A'dhamiyah district in Baghdad Governorate."[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]According to the statement, the Minister also approved the maps for the re-establishment and organization of the administrative borders of (5) districts in Kirkuk Governorate, indicating that "the districts referred to are (Qarahanhir), (Shwan), (Al-Multaqa), (Yaiji), and (Altun Kopri).[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]The statement indicated that "this approval came after a planning team from the Regional and Local Development Department conducted field visits and desk studies of the newly created areas."[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]He pointed out that "the creation process comes within the framework of working to develop and reconstruct these districts and sub-districts, and to enable them to open municipal departments in them to improve the level of services provided to their people."[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]It is noteworthy that the area of ​​Kirkuk Governorate is (10,359) square kilometers and includes (16) sub-districts that form (4) districts.[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]The area of ​​Baghdad Governorate is (5169) square kilometers, and includes (32) administrative units (districts) that form (10) districts.[/rtl]
