Migration to {Sabah}: Teams to prevent reverse displacement of voluntary returnees

The Ministry of Migration and Displacement has formed teams from the immigration branches in the governorates to follow up on the conditions of displaced persons who have returned voluntarily to prevent their reverse migration.
The administrative undersecretary of the ministry, Dr. Karim Al-Nouri, told Al-Sabah: His ministry has formed teams of ministry employees within the immigration branches departments in the liberated governorates, specifically in the areas that witnessed the voluntary return of the displaced during the past period. He added that the mission of these teams will be to follow up on the conditions of the voluntary returnees within their original areas of residence with the aim of preventing their reverse displacement, especially in their original areas of residence, stressing that they still lack services and the necessities of life, noting that his ministry is working to deliver the four million dinar grant to each returnee according to an organized mechanism that guarantees their rights as voluntary returnees.
Al-Nouri revealed that there is a great desire among the Yazidis to return, and indeed many of them have returned to their original areas. However, they faced some social problems after their return, and the federal and regional Ministries of Migration pledged to protect them, not to harm them, and to ensure their stability in their areas without facing any harassment, which is what his ministry stresses that it will work to achieve.
