The Minister of Oil Jabar Luaibi, a delegation of Russian company Lukoil, working in the oil fields in southern Iraq to increase cooperation.
According to a ministry statement said Laibi ", received a delegation of the Lukoil oil company, headed by Russian CEO Katie Jubouri During the meeting, congratulating the minister on the occasion of assuming the new position."
The oil minister said according to the statement, "said the ministry attaches great importance to the work carried out by international companies working on the development of large oil fields, particularly Lukoil in the West Qurna field / second stage," stressing that "increasing the volume of cooperation with these companies and to serve the common interests." .
For his part, he praised the head of the Russian delegation of the company "carefully ministry to cooperate with international companies and to provide appropriate working conditions that will help to implement the plans developed by the joint departments of oil fields."
The new oil minister Jabbar and coffee, said yesterday he was "trying to increase Iraq's production of crude, balancing OPEC's market."
He stressed Laibi in a meeting with Advanced staff of the ministry, "the need of the day and night work in order to increase national production of oil and gas, which in turn leads to increased energy export of oil and gas as well as fill a need of power generation from gas stations."
He said the oil minister, "we aspire to raise oil and gas reserves levels and promote additional quantities through the activation of exploration and investment activity of the reserves is proven and undiscovered and provide great support for the national effort."
