[ltr]Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Minister of Agriculture, Izzuldinne al-Dawla discussed with the Sudanese President, Omar al-Basheer, the Iraqi-Sudanese bilateral relations.[/ltr]
[ltr]A statement by the Ministry cited “Dawla met with the President of Sudan on sidelines of the Iraqi-Sudanese Committee’s meetings being held in Khartoum where the Minister showed Iraq’s willingness to establish best relations with the friendly Arab countries, especially with Sudan.”[/ltr]
[ltr]“The Agriculture Minister briefed the Sudanese President on the visit’s goals and the mutual committee’s meetings’ outcomes which resulted in concluding Memorandum of Understandings in fields of agriculture, animal resources, manufacturing industries and exchange of expertise in the investment, scientific and cultural domains,” the statement added.[/ltr]
[ltr]“For his part, Basheer stressed his country’s readiness to cooperate with Iraq and enhance the friendly relations between both countries,” the statement concluded.[/ltr]
