    The 12th conference of the Iraq-British Business Council (IBBC) is scheduled to be held in the British capital, London. In this context, the spokesman for the Kurdistan Region Investment Commission, Barkash Akriye, announced that one of the expected outcomes of the conference will be the opening of a branch of the University of London in Erbil, which will be the largest branch of the university in the Middle East.[/size]
    [size=45]Barkash Akri said: “The Chairman of the Investment Board, Dr. Mohammed Shukri, will represent the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, at the IBBC conference, and will deliver a speech on his behalf at the conference.”[/size]
    [size=45]The spokesman for the Investment Authority confirmed that “the Iraqi-British Business Council conference is held twice a year, with the participation of officials from Erbil, Baghdad and London. The conference is held once in London and once in the UAE.”[/size]
    [size=45]He pointed out that “the aim of the conference is to enhance trade and economic relations, and the discussions of the current conference focus on the steps required to enhance cooperation in the fields of trade and investment.”[/size]
    [size=45]In addition to the Chairman of the Investment Commission as a representative of the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, representatives of the Iraqi government, businessmen, traders, investors, and representatives of British and international companies will participate in the conference.[/size]
    [size=45]“Some well-known British figures and some MPs will attend the conference, where they will deliver their speeches and highlight the strengthening of relations,” Akriye explained.[/size]
    [size=45]In the same context, the spokesman for the Investment Authority confirmed that “one of the positive results expected from the annual conference is the opening of a branch of the University of London in Erbil, which is a world-famous university, and this branch will be the largest of the university in the Middle East region.”[/size]
