[size=45]Adnan Al-Marawi, a leader in the Al-Hasm Alliance, confirmed that all the initiatives that were put forward will not see the light of day due to the lack of response from the head of the Progress Party and his insistence on his candidate, Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani.[/size]
[size=45]Al-Marawi said, “The insistence of the Progress Party on its candidate, Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani, made the blocs opposing the Progress Party insist on nominating Salem Matar Al-Issawi.”[/size]
[size=45]He added, "The political blocs opposing the Progress Party have reached many understandings with the Coordination Framework towards supporting Salem Al-Issawi."[/size]
[size=45]The leader of the Al-Hasm Alliance pointed out that “the Progress Party no longer has the largest bloc as it claimed within the Sunni component, and the number of Progress MPs no longer exceeds thirty seats.”[/size]
[size=45]Al-Marawi explained that “the framework meeting yesterday was very good due to the absence of Mohammed al-Halbousi from the State Administration Alliance meeting, due to the framework’s insistence on deciding the position of the Speaker of Parliament in the upcoming session.”[/size]
[size=45]He concluded by saying, “The head of the Progress Party is working on the issue of regionalization through his armies on social media because he has come to realize that he will lose the position of Speaker of the House of Representatives due to the awareness of the political blocs of the Sunni and Kurdish components.”[/size]
