Minister of Labor directs preparation of a study on digital transformation within the ministry

{Local: Al-Furat News} The Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Ahmed Al-Assadi, directed the preparation of a study on completing the digital transformation within the ministry. This came while he chaired a meeting of the opinion committee in the presence of the general directors and senior staff of the ministry.
Al-Asadi said in a statement received by {Euphrates News}, "The digital transformation is very important because it is part of the automation and e-governance process, stressing the necessity of moving from administrative routine to the reality of work, calling for submitting proposals on this subject to be discussed in the next meeting of the Opinion Council."
He also directed the rapid activation of the beneficiary service center, and for each department to prepare three employees to work on this service, as it is an important task that will positively reflect on the work of the ministry and the services it provides to citizens.
The meeting also discussed the results of the ministries’ performance evaluation in the field of combating and preventing corruption for the year 2023, which includes several procedures, including submitting a comprehensive annual text position on all the ministry’s procedures in the field of reducing corruption, resolving investigative cases, completing criminal cases related to corruption cases, and punishing employees who neglect to perform their duties.
