Karkh Health Department announced today, Wednesday, the opening of a number of projects soon.
Director General of Karkh Health Department, Wael Al-Kubaisi, said, "A group of projects will be opened soon in Karkh Health, including the Al-Hurriya Hospital project, in addition to the Yarmouk Hospital Emergency Department with a capacity of 109 beds, which will see the light within two weeks, as well as 7 operating rooms, and the start of the second phase in Yarmouk Hospital, the (AGD) building, which can accommodate 11 operating rooms and a large pulmonary resuscitation unit with approximately more than 40 beds." -Kubaisi added, "Karkh Health is working on rehabilitating the Central Children's Hospital, which will be completed soon, as well as starting work on Abu Ghraib Hospital within the government effort program. We also have the 50-bed Sabaa Al-Bour Hospital, and we are proceeding with the Martyr Muhammad Baqir Al-Hakim Hospital project in addition to the opening of Al-Hurriya Hospital and there are many other projects."
Regarding medical personnel, Al-Kubaisi confirmed that "the number of nurses will be completed in the coming days to be sufficient, and the number of doctors is also sufficient, but there is a shortage in the number of administrators, and we are proceeding with increasing them."
