Increased oil production in Wasit

  said Wasit province , high output fields Ahdab rate and Badra oilfields to 237,000 barrels per day.

He added that the Badra oil field is now at a capacity of 15 oil wells, as well as to prepare for the introduction of new oil wells over the next few days, indicating that Kaz Russian company Gazprom implementing the project Badra oil field trying to reach 170,000 barrels per day during the current 2017.
Saidi noted that the field of Badra , who was referred in the second licensing round and the start of actual production which during the year 2014, has confounded oil up to three billion barrels, pointing out that the project provided 3,500 jobs in various specialties for the people of the province, as well as the company operating in the field implementation of projects service in the province at a cost of five million dollars annually within the social contribution projects.
For its part , it revealed the head of the Energy Committee in the House of Wasit hope Ugaili, for moving procedures relocation of the oil company central to the province after obtaining Cabinet approval, according to the oil production has reached the province from the fields of Ahdab and Badra oilfields which stood at 237,000 barrels per day and 15 tons of sulfur per day, a large reservoir of liquid and dry gas, as well as possession fields of oil discovered and undiscovered, with the availability of professional staff and equipment necessary to set up  a

She said Kaz Gazprom Russian company is steadily moving on according to the schedule announced to reach production to 170,000 barrels a day through the end of this year, noting that the field of Badra , who transmitted the second licensing round, is the second largest oil reservoirs in Wasit, after Ahdab, stocks , up to three billion barrels.
