    Baghdad Today - Follow-up
    Iraqi oil prices fell today, Wednesday (October 2, 2024), on the third day of trading this week for futures contracts, due to the escalation between Iran and Israel, while Brent and Texas crude prices rose compared to yesterday.
    According to data reviewed by Baghdad Today, Basra Heavy crude oil recorded $67.21 per barrel during today’s trading, while the average recorded $70.21 per barrel, with a change rate of 1.75+ for both.
    The data also showed an increase in global crude prices, with British Brent crude recording $74.72, while US West Texas Intermediate crude recorded $71.07 per barrel, by +0.07 and +0.08, respectively.
