    Information/Baghdad…
Former MP Ayoub Al-Rubaie confirmed on Tuesday that the decision on the presidency of the House of Representatives has been postponed until further notice in the midst of recent events.
Al-Rubaie explained in an interview with Al-Maalouma that "the Middle East region is facing a dangerous slide, especially with the recent developments on the Lebanese front and the attempts of the occupying entity to launch a large-scale attack."
Al-Rubaie pointed out that the pace of air strikes and the thousands of martyrs in Palestine and Lebanon are all worrying files that have prompted the political elites to direct their compass towards them, especially since these files are putting great pressure on the Iraqi scene, adding that resolving the issue of the presidency of the House of Representatives has been postponed until further notice due to recent events, especially since the Iraqi elites are watching with great concern the developments of what is happening, due to its great repercussions in all the countries of the Middle East.
He stressed that the horrific attacks and massacres occur daily without any intervention by international organizations, especially the UN Security Council, noting that Washington unfortunately justifies what is happening, which represents another act of hypocrisy towards the thousands of martyrs and wounded. He pointed out that Iraq faces serious challenges, and that what is happening in Lebanon is pivotal and important, stressing that many files have been postponed due to the current events in Lebanon.
It is noteworthy that the occupying forces have been violently bombing Lebanese cities and towns for days, which has led to the deaths of thousands of martyrs and wounded and the destruction of vast areas. End 25 F
