    He confirmed the administrative agent of the Ministry of Agriculture d. Mehdi al-Jubouri, the importance and the role of agricultural investment in achieving economic growth and development, especially in the current circumstances witnessed by the country from the war with the regulations "Daesh" terrorist, as well as the financial crisis is going through.
    He revealed during a speech at a conference of the heads of investment departments in the ministry departments and directorates of agriculture in the agricultural , both plant and animal, which was held under the patronage of Agriculture Minister Falah Hassan Zaidan al- Lahibi under the banner of the investment sector , the provinces (agriculture is the primary tributary of the resources of Iraq), the existence of a significant gap in revenues oil sector compared to the agricultural sector as a result of the weakness of agricultural investments for the sector and the need for sector large amounts of capital to develop it with regard to the transfer of technology and industry , poultry, fish, livestock, industry , veterinary medicines and vaccines, fertilizers and pesticides of various kinds as well as in the field of agricultural marketing companies, in addition to the adoption of supplementary irrigation techniques and land Reclamation and all what is the stated investment opportunities for local and foreign investors.
    Jubouri called to attract investors in the agricultural sector, as the best of Agriculture returned to investors and can be put up licensing round for agricultural investments in the light of the investment map and the investment opportunities available.
    And the need for a developed banking sector , what would trigger investment in all its forms, pointing out that the real desire of the ministry to attract agricultural investment is to provide all the facilities for an investor for the success of the establishment of agricultural projects in the country.
