Federal Court: No financial burden on the review of oil licensing contracts

The Supreme Federal Court ruled that the Council of Representatives' commitment to the federal government to review licensing contracts within the general budget law for the current year, falls within its legislative powers, indicating that the measure does not cost financial burdens. The Director of the Information Office of the Federal Supreme Court Ias Samok in a statement yesterday: «One of the appeals considered by the Federal Supreme Court in the case concerning the budget law was related to licensing contracts and take the sequence of Article (48 / I) of the Budget Law».
"Samok said that« the article obliged the federal government, including the Ministry of Oil review contracts for oil licensing rounds if reviewed by what is in the interest of Iraq ».
He pointed out that «the court found that the status of this article came within the powers of the House of Representatives legislative and does not contradict with the provisions of Article (62 / II) of the Constitution, does not cost the government financial burdens outside the allocations of the General Budget».[/rtl]
