The Supreme National Commission for Accountability and Justice announced on Thursday the completion of the audit of the names referred to it by the Electoral Commission for the parties to participate in the upcoming elections.
"190 parties have been audited so far, with 2500 names of one party, plus 200 of the annexes, which are the alternative names for those excluded from the Commission's procedures," said Hassan al-Shuweili, director general of the legal department of the organization.
"We have started the audit of lists of names received by the Electoral Commission since the middle of 2017 and so far, and the Commission continues to receive lists of names if they reported to us later.
