The bank's media advisor, Aqil Al-Shuwaili, said in a press statement, "Any employee whose salary is domiciled in the Trade Bank of Iraq can obtain a loan to purchase a residential unit of up to 150 million dinars from residential complexes, provided that the percentage of completion of the complex is 25 percent and with a decreasing interest rate of up to 4 percent," indicating that "this came after the recent amendments."
He added that "the duration of this loan is 15 years," noting that "the second loan is without a guarantor and is from 1 million to 15 million dinars with an interest rate of 8 percent for a period of 6 years."
He continued that "the third loan is from 15 million to 50 million dinars with an interest rate of 6 percent for a period of 10 years with a guarantor."
Regarding contract employees, Al-Shuwaili confirmed that "the contract domiciled in the bank can obtain 15 million dinars for a period of six years with a guarantor, provided that no more than half of the salary is deducted."
