Kuwait issues directives to its citizens in Iraq

The Kuwaiti embassy in Iraq issued a number of directives to Kuwaiti citizens wishing to visit religious shrines in Iraq in the month of Muharram.
In a statement, the embassy said "Kuwaiti visitors abide by local laws and regulations and not to use unsafe roads by Iraqi forces."
She stressed the importance of ensuring that each visitor receives an ID card bearing the phone number of the campaign, the hotel name and the adherence to health standards in eating food and beverages and not to go to other provinces until after informing the owner of the campaign and get his approval.
And called on citizens "not to violate the travel instructions to and from Iraq, including requiring the visitor to return to Kuwait by land if he entered Iraq by land and return by air if he entered the country by air and non-violation of the law."
The embassy said that "passengers arriving through Najaf airport and do not have an entry visa issued by the Iraqi Embassy in Kuwait to pay the amount of 101 dollars in the fee to obtain a visa from the relevant authorities at the airport."
