    The Central Bank of Iraq's foreign currency sales fell Monday to $ 106.19 million from $ 149.88 million in Sunday's auction of $ 43.69 million.
    The Central Bank said in a statement read by "Economy News" that "the exchange rate amounted to 1190 dinars per dollar, the auction held with the participation of 28 banks, and one company only for financial transfer."
    "These sales are the outcome of Tuesday's auction, and total sales totaled $ 137.19 million," the bank said.
    Amounts sold to strengthen bank balances abroad were $ 104.94 million, with total cash sold at $ 23.25 million.
    The Central Bank, according to the statement, "The sale of amounts transferred to the accounts of banks abroad at the price of 1190 dinars per dollar, while the cash sale will be at the same price."
