The call is intended to separate Abadi and other party leaders
Islamic Dawa Party (Dawa) has decided to dismiss current prime minister Haider al-Abadi and other party leaders, political sources said Wednesday.
The sources said that "the Dawa Party intends to separate Abadi and leaders who support him Ali Alaak and Walid al-Hali from the party because of his failure to abide by the agreement between victory and law after the elections and push them to split."
The Islamic Dawa party issued a statement on Wednesday calling on the party's disciplinary committee to take action against Abadi.
