Twilight News / Presidency of the Iraqi Council of Representatives announced the completion of 7 names of the conditions for nomination to the presidency of the Republic.
The Information Service of the Council published the names as follows:
Sardar Abdullah Mahmoud Times
Abdul Latif Jamal Rasheed
Omar Ahmed Karim Barzanji
Sarwa Abdel-Wahid Kader Ibrahim
Abdul Karim Ali Abtan Jubouri
Barham Ahmed Saleh Qasim
Fouad Mohammed Hussein Bakki
Mohammed al-Halbusi, Speaker of the House of Representatives announced on Thursday 27 9/2018 during the third session of the Council that the total number of candidates applying for the post of President of the Republic reached 31 candidates.
He pointed out that the number of those who met the conditions according to the evaluation of the concerned parties reached 7 candidates, as well as that 14 candidates did not provide evidence of political experience, in addition to the exclusion of 9 candidates and the withdrawal of one candidate.
Among the names excluded by the list is the Kurdish professor Fili Kamal Aziz Qaituli.
