Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi blessed Barham Saleh for obtaining the confidence of the House of Representatives for the post of President of the Republic.
Al-Abadi wished, according to the Office of the Prime Minister received the agency of all Iraq [where] a copy of it, "conciliation to serve Iraq and preserve the rights of citizenship to his people."
It is noteworthy that the House of Representatives was elected on Tuesday evening, the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan candidate Barham Saleh as president of the Republic after two rounds of elections.
