    Riyadh renews its support for Iraq at all levels


    Saudi Arabia's King Salman bin Abdul Aziz said on Monday that Saudi Arabia supports Iraq at all levels.
    A statement from the office of parliament speaker Mohammed Halabousi, who is currently visiting Saudi Arabia, said Halabousi met with King Salman on Monday in the framework of his official visit to Saudi Arabia. The two brotherly peoples, and the latest developments on the local and regional arenas.
    Al-Halbusi said: Iraq is keen to develop its relationship with its Arab and regional environment through joint coordination and at all levels, especially on the economic and investment levels and to support trade exchange and the opening of border crossings and development, stressing the importance of sister countries role in the reconstruction of Iraq, Saudi Arabia, with its companies and expertise, will contribute to the rehabilitation of many cities affected by terrorism or those lacking services and infrastructure.
    He thanked the Speaker of the House of Representatives, King Salman, for the initiative of the Government in developing the Arar border port between the two countries and the establishment of a sports stadium in Baghdad, as well as the allocation of funds for the reconstruction of Iraq at the Kuwait Conference, stressing the need to open Iraq to its Arab brothers, and strengthen its relationship with all and in order to serve issues of interest Common.
    He called on the President of the House of Representatives to coordinate Arab efforts; to overcome the differences and problems through constructive dialogue and away from the escalation, which reflected negatively on the security and stability of the region, praising at the same time the role of Saudi Arabia, which supports Iraq.
    For his part, the Saudi king welcomed the speaker of the Iraqi parliament in the Kingdom, hoping that the next stage will witness the return of Iraq to its prominent position in the region, especially after the victories achieved on terrorism or other fields, stressing the support of the Kingdom's government to Iraq and its people at all levels.
