Suspension of granting clearance approvals for 737 (MAX) aircraft in Iraqi airspace[/size]

The Iraqi civil aviation authority decided on Wednesday to suspend the approval of the passage of 770 (MAX) aircraft in Iraqi airspace, due to technical and international restrictions on the use of this type of aircraft.
"The decision came under the guidance of the Aviation Safety Section of the Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority to ensure the safe use of this type of aircraft to maintain safety procedures in Iraqi airspace," the authority said in a statement to the news agency.
The authority added that "this decision is effective from this day in the suspension of granting approvals for the aircraft mentioned, to use Iraqi airports or enter Iraqi airspace and until further notice for this type of aircraft."
