[rtl]Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi on Wednesday issued strict instructions not to use live bullets against demonstrators.[/rtl]
[rtl]"We have issued strict instructions not to use live bullets, but a large number of demonstrators and security forces have fallen," Abdul Mahdi said in a televised speech.[/rtl]
[rtl]He added, "We have an audience that wanted to express its legitimate demands," adding that "we reject the logic of sedition, we will stand against selfish plans, and we will stand with the legitimate demands of citizens and public freedoms."[/rtl]
[rtl]"The advocates of chaos will not succeed," he said, noting that "cases of assault, arson and vandalism do not belong to the people."[/rtl]
