, The Foreign Ministry confirmed today, Tuesday, its commitment to protect the sanctity of the US embassy in the capital, Baghdad, in compliance with the Vienna agreement.
The State Department stated, in a statement that Mawazine News received a copy of: A martyr and a wounded man. "
The statement stressed that "the diplomatic missions operating on the soil of Iraq are subject to high respect and appreciation, and that the ministry is committed to preserving its sanctity in line with the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, and the need not to jeopardize its security."
He pointed out that "the Prime Minister called on everyone to leave immediately away from these places, and stressed that any aggression, or provocation to embassies, and foreign representations is an act that security forces will strictly prohibit, and the law will be punished with the most severe penalties."
