Member of the Parliamentary Health and Environment Committee, Moktaba Al-Hasnawi, revealed today, Tuesday, parliamentary moves to file a lawsuit against the United States of America, indicating that America has caused thousands of Iraqis to develop cancer.
Hasnawi said, "The war left by the United States of America inside Iraq has resulted in the transformation of large areas into radioactive areas due to the military waste."
He added that "the United States of America, during the war in 2003, used prohibited international weapons inside Iraq," noting that "those weapons caused the cancer of the Iraqis to become infected."
Al-Hasnawi indicated that "there are moves to prosecute Washington against the background of committing health crimes against the Iraqi people." End 2
