Al-Mayahi said in a press statement that "some ministries in the government of Abdul-Mahdi have become shops and a focus of corruption, especially in referring contracts and others."
He added that "the Ministry of Agriculture turned to enterprises managed by the minister's brother who sits with the advanced investment companies and negotiates them," noting that "the minister of agriculture was a choice of Abdul-Mahdi."
He explained that "there is manipulation by the [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/2207/%D9%88%D8%B2%D8%A7%D8%B1%D8%A9 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B2%D8%B1%D8%A7%D8%B9%D8%A9]Ministry of Agriculture of the[/url] subject of some agricultural crops for the purpose of continuing importation," noting that "the minister was summoned from the House of Representatives, but he refused to come for his fear of exposing corruption deals that took place in his ministry."
