    [size=18]On Tuesday, a lawmaker accused what she described as "mafias of corruption in the ministries" by concluding corrupt contracts in public and without fear of regulatory agencies, noting that the caretaker government is outside the framework of legal accountability, and has presented documents on the matter.


     
    Alia Nassif said in a statement today, "The corrupt contracts in the ministries are making fictional profits, and tampering with public money has become easy because the caretaker government is outside the framework of legal accountability because it lacks the job status and is not subject to accountability from the highest legislative authority," explaining "We parliamentarians".     Nassif called the Integrity and Prosecution Authority to intervene and cancel the corrupt contracts concluded during the caretaker government.

    She added: "We will also present to the Iraqi people and the regulatory and judicial authorities soon examples of corruption of the highest head in the Ministry of Defense and documents, and the supervisory and judicial authorities can consider our statements as reports of corruption crimes documented by evidence."
