[size=18]On Friday, the Presidency of the Republic affirmed that the foreign bombing that targeted several locations inside Iraq, including Karbala Airport, is under construction, in violation of national sovereignty, calling on the international community to support Iraq and respect its sovereignty and its independent national decision.

A statement quoted the presidency as saying, "The Presidency of the Republic denounces the foreign bombing that targeted many locations inside Iraq, including the Karbala airport under construction, and led to the martyrdom and wounding of members of the Iraqi security forces and civilians, and considered it a violation of national sovereignty."

The presidency renewed, according to the statement, "stressing that addressing the security situation comes by supporting the Iraqi government to carry out its duties and strengthening its capabilities and will to enforce the law and protect sovereignty, and prevent the transformation of its territories into a proxy war zone," noting that "the continuous violations of the state are weakening Systematic and dangerous to its capabilities and prestige, in conjunction with a stage in which Iraq faces massive and unprecedented challenges, politically, economically and financially, security and health. "

And she continued, "These risks, if they continue, would slide Iraq into a state of non-state and chaos, especially if the security escalation continues, with indications that ISIS terrorist elements are trying to restore their ability to threaten the security of the homeland and the citizen."

She pointed out that "this historic moment requires national cohesion and close ranks around a national project based on the authority of the sovereign state and independent decision, and preventing Iraq from turning into a battlefield for others, and focusing on completing and protecting the victory against terrorism", calling on the international community to "support Iraq In this endeavor, respecting its sovereignty and its independent national decision. "

And last night, Karbala Airport (under construction) was subjected to an American bombing in addition to a number of the crowd headquarters in the governorate, Salah al-Din and Anbar, in response to the targeting of ten American missiles at the Taji camp last Wednesday with ten missiles, killing two Americans and a British.
