    The information / Baghdad ..
Today, Friday, the MP for the Saeron Alliance, Riad Al-Masoudi, explained the mechanism of action of the House of Representatives for the first legislative chapter of the third legislative year, stressing that the House of Representatives is proceeding with the legislation of the election laws and the Federal Court, to hold the elections on the specified date.
Al-Masoudi said to "the information", "The House of Representatives will reconvene in the first legislative term of the third legislative year, and within what is planned to discuss a number of laws of utmost importance, foremost of which is the vote on the Federal Court law and the completion of the schedule attached to the election law."
He added that “in the first session there will be no vote on the two laws, but detailed procedures and dialogues will be completed, with the aim of expediting the enactment of these two laws, because of their great importance, to prepare for early and quick elections,” explaining that “the House of Representatives bears great duties and responsibilities during The next legislative term, and therefore the Council will proceed through its committees, especially the Legal Committee, to complete the procedures of these two laws.
Al-Masoudi indicated that “Article 15 and all articles contained in the election law were voted on, but the problem lies in the multiple constituencies, as it has a technical aspect related to the Legal Committee, the Presidency Commission, and the Elections Commission with the cooperation of the Ministry of Planning. Therefore, delaying the vote on the law is not related to members of the Council Representatives, but rather in the technical aspects to determine the number of these departments and their records.
He added that “the law according to Article 15 was voted on, which obliges the governorates to have multiple departments, and therefore there should not be one or even two circles, but rather the number of districts should be from three onwards,” indicating that “there is a desire from the United Nations, the Iraqi government and some Political forces, to go through compromise solutions for the purpose of passing the election law.
Al-Masoudi asserted that "the dispute over the law is based on, should each representative seat be in one district, or should the province be divided into three or four and five constituencies?" Thus, ”indicating that“ some political forces insisted at the time that [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] be in one circle, such as the Kurdistan Alliance, and there is another vision for the province to be one district, but the popular demands are very clear that there should be multiple constituencies. ”End / 25
