    It seems that the threat of Corona virus is increasing in northern Iraq, especially after the announcement of the monitoring of 4 different strains of the virus, which does not exclude its transmission to all governorates of Iraq, and while Baghdad does not exclude the arrival of 10,000 infections per day, the Ministry of Health indicates the possibility of imposing a closure in Ramadan.
    Health Minister Hassan Al-Tamimi said that the decisions of the Supreme Committee for Health and National Safety regarding curfews to limit the spread of the Corona virus will be effective during the holy month of Ramadan.
     
    The minister explained that the ministry relies urgently on the epidemiological situation, through which any restrictions or additional measures are taken, indicating that no new decisions are currently issued.
     
    On the other hand, the Corona response team in the Kurdistan region warned that the current wave of Corona virus is more dangerous and more powerful than previous waves.
    "Unfortunately, we see every day that a large number of injured people enter hospitals while they are in unstable health conditions, and if the conditions continue as they are now, the hospitals will not be able to receive patients during the coming weeks," said team leader Dr. Hersh.
     
    Haidar called, "all citizens to adhere to health instructions to prevent infection with the Corona virus and to visit doctors and medical centers when any symptoms of infection with the Corona virus appear on them."
     
    Injuries may reach 10,000 per day
    For his part, a member of the Parliamentary Crisis Cell, MP Salman Hassan, believes that the arrival of Corona virus infections to 10 thousand cases per day in Iraq is possible.
    Hassan said that “Corona is a global epidemic that struck all countries and caused very large deaths,” indicating that “the arrival of injuries in Iraq to 10 thousand daily injuries is possible and possible, if there is no actual application of the Ministry of Health's preventive instructions, which contribute to reducing injuries and cutting The chain of transmission of the virus ”.
    He continued, "The high daily infection rates are a danger and a source of concern for the Ministry of Health and the regulatory authorities," indicating that "adherence to preventive measures and taking vaccinations is the best way to prevent an epidemic explosion in Iraq."
    He stressed that "the imposition of a comprehensive, long-term ban in Iraq will have negative repercussions on the lives of millions, so we do not count on it, and we hope that the partial ban will remain with a real commitment to preventive measures."
    He pointed out that “there are fallacies and inaccurate information spread on social media and even local media about vaccines against the Corona virus, and this is a very dangerous matter because it did not create reluctance in some segments, although vaccines can reduce injuries and avoid more victims. Because of the virus ”.
