According to the official newspaper, Hassan Salman, director of the IHEC’s Media and Mass Communication Department, said that “most of the violations committed by the candidates are minor and do not reach the level of definitive penalties,” noting that “most of them consist in placing electoral propaganda in the wrong places.”
He added that "whatever violations that happen on social media are monitored and sent to the commission, but it depends on the complaint and monitoring," stressing that "most of them are simple cases, but they are sent to the concerned authorities."
He cautioned that "the commission has not yet punished any entity or candidate, as they remove the violation three days before being notified of it," and expected "the intensification of competition and electoral propaganda with the approaching voting date, which increases the issue of violations."
Salman added that "there is a development that the commission has touched by respecting the system, or perhaps because of the multiplicity of electoral districts, the lack of intersections and the competition between the candidates." Ended 29/A43
