Shafaq News/ Al-Fateh Alliance, led by Hadi Al-Amiri, commented on Sunday on the possibility of the Federal Supreme Court resolving the case submitted to it regarding the annulment of the early parliamentary election results.
"We expect the Federal Court to postpone its decision on the appeal submitted against the results of the legislative elections, by the leader of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Hadi al-Amiri," the leader of the coalition, Muhammad al-Bayati, told Shafaq News.
And he indicated that "the reason for the delay may be the case's need for deep surveys and going to the polls, as well as looking into other complaints submitted against all the results, and therefore the case may take longer, especially since the Federal Court will involve technical experts and others from outside the judiciary, to consider the case, and for this We expect it to be postponed again during Monday's argument."
Last week, the leader of the Al-Fateh Alliance Hadi Al-Amiri submitted appeals related to the elections to the Federal Court for a ruling, and the latter set the thirteenth of this month as the date for announcing its decision regarding the appeals and the election results in general.
Yesterday, Saturday, a member of the media team in the Independent High Electoral Commission, Imad Jamil, confirmed to Shafak News Agency, that "there are no appeals against the results of the early parliamentary elections at the present time to the Federal Supreme Court, but there are complaints submitted to it, one of the Al-Fateh Alliance and a complaint Another about the women's quota, and a third from 3 candidates.
