[size=45]Yesterday, Wednesday, the Ministry of Health announced that Iraq has passed the peak of the fourth wave of the Corona virus, but it is still complaining about the lack of demand for the vaccine, and it talked about proceeding with field campaigns in cooperation with a number of organizations aimed at vaccinating the largest number of citizens.[/size]
[size=45]The official spokesman, Saif Al-Badr, said, "Iraq has passed the peak of the fourth wave of the Corona virus, and the evidence is the decrease in the number of infections."[/size]
[size=45]Al-Badr added, "The ministry is following up on the epidemiological situation through its experts, and there is continuous coordination with the World Health Organization."[/size]
[size=45]He pointed out that "a vaccination campaign was launched in Baghdad in coordination with a number of organizations, including UNICEF. This means that the danger circle still exists."[/size]
[size=45]Al-Badr spoke about “the persistence of fears of a new wave, and it is correct to say that infection rates have declined, but we are still recording injuries and deaths.”[/size]

[size=45]Al-Badr stressed, "The important thing that should reach the Iraqi citizen is to emphasize the preventive measures, which are the same simple and inexpensive related to receiving vaccines, continuous sterilization and social distancing, as well as wearing masks."[/size]
[size=45]He regrets that "these procedures, despite their simplicity, are not applied in all Iraqi provinces in a way that threatens to continue this disregard."[/size]
[size=45]Al-Badr reiterated that “vaccines have been scientifically proven to achieve real protection against most mutant mutations, and that one of the reasons that led to the decline in the number of infections is receiving vaccinations.”[/size]
[size=45]He noted that "the media has decreased its interest in the issue of the importance of receiving vaccinations, and this matter has affected the number of those receiving vaccinations."[/size]
[size=45]Al-Badr went on to say, "Iraq has not yet achieved the ambition set by the Ministry of Health regarding the percentage of vaccines, and the reason is the lack of citizens' demand in the required manner despite the presence of a large number of vaccines."[/size]
