    {Local: Al Furat News} The Ministry of Health has warned of a fourth pandemic wave of the Corona virus in the country.
    A statement by the ministry, of which the agency {Euphrates News} received a copy, stated: “We are closely monitoring, through our committees and experts, the global epidemiological situation, as several countries have witnessed in the past days an unprecedented rise in the number of injuries and deaths, despite those countries reaching high levels of vaccination rates for their societies. Infections in Britain and Russia significantly increased, with an increase in deaths also, with evidence of the emergence of new mutations in the Covid 19 virus, and this threatens the spread of these new strains to the rest of the world.
    He added, "Therefore, we do not rule out the occurrence of a fourth wave as a result of these genetic mutations in the virus, in addition to the presence of factors contributing to the deterioration of the epidemiological situation in Iraq as a result of citizens' lack of commitment to preventive measures and the large number of human gatherings of all kinds, in addition to the failure to achieve high rates of vaccination of citizens. With injuries, which may be severe, threaten our health system."
    The statement continued, "As we previously indicated in our successive data that the only way to stave off the danger of the expected epidemic waves is to achieve the high rate of community vaccination, and unfortunately, so far, we have not reached the required percentage that pushes the risk of the expected epidemiological deterioration, so we call on all citizens to immediately go to the vaccination centers to receive the vaccine in order to preserve For their safety and the safety of their families, as the vaccine is sufficiently available in all our health institutions.”
    The Ministry of Health called on "all media and satellite channels and all social media to make an effort to urge citizens to receive the vaccine as soon as possible, and thanks and appreciation to the cadres of the White Army and all the parties supporting the efforts of the Ministry of Health, mercy and forgiveness for the martyrs of the White Army and a speedy recovery for the sick, and may God protect Iraq and its people from all evil." .
