The National Security Adviser, Qassem Al-Araji, received, in his office, on Tuesday, the US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Iraq and Iran, Jennifer Givetto, in the presence of the US Ambassador in Baghdad, Matthew Tueller.
According to a statement by Al-Araji's office, Mawazine News received a copy of it, that during the meeting, relations between the two countries were reviewed, and the file of the Syrian Al-Hol camp and Al-Hasakah prison were discussed, in addition to the Sinjar file and the fight against terrorism.
Al-Araji stressed the continuation of cooperation with the international coalition to combat ISIS and to dry up its human, financial and media sources.
For his part, the US ambassador affirmed respect for Iraq's sovereignty and continued cooperation in all fields, commitment to the outcomes of the strategic dialogue between Baghdad and Washington, and working to activate frameworks for economic cooperation, energy and climate change.
Givito also expressed her optimism about the Vienna dialogues, stressing Washington's commitment to continue the war on ISIS, support partners and continue support for Iraq, and continue to eliminate ISIS terrorist. Ended 29/R77
