Earth News/ The Turkmen parliamentary bloc called on political leaders to give priority to the language of dialogue and the supreme interest of the nation.
A statement by the bloc, a copy of which was received by Earth News, stated that “in the midst of the critical current circumstances that our dear country is going through, conflicts and differences according to the orientations of each of the political parties and the state of incompatibility in the constitutional benefits or the election results. Which raises messages of concern that the state is going towards the unknown, with unpredictable results, and the consequences are not good, God forbid.” Therefore, the Turkmen parliamentary bloc held a meeting today, Friday, to call on political leaders to do the following:
1- Calling upon all our brothers in the Iraqi political leaders to give priority to the supreme national interest and to find the appropriate way out to bring the country to safety.
2- Ensuring the rights of all components of the Iraqi people, preserving the unity of the country and eliminating administrative and financial corruption.
3- Not to include the issue of Kirkuk and other Turkmen regions within political deals or bargaining during the formation of the government and afterwards.
4- Federal forces remain in Kirkuk and other areas.
5- Ensuring the rights of the Turkmen component in the government formation in a manner appropriate to its national and electoral size.
She added, "The Turkmen bloc declares its full readiness to bring the views closer and find solutions to get out of the current crisis and the political blockage in the service of the country and the people."
