    Today, Sunday, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, issued a number of decisions while presiding over a meeting of security leaders in the presence of the Ministers of Defense and Interior.


    Al-Kazemi’s office said in a statement received by Alsumaria News, that the latter “presided over a security meeting of the security and military leaders, in the presence of the Ministers of Defense and Interior, to discuss the progress of implementing the security plans for the blessed month of Ramadan, and to follow up on the security operations that pursue the remnants of the defeated ISIS and clear its dens, as well as procedures Protecting electric power transmission towers, concentrating the intelligence effort and its outcome, praising the performance of our heroic armed forces, the growth of their operational capabilities, and the acceleration of indicators of building security and military capabilities.”






    Al-Kazemi stressed, “His previous directives to raise the level of attention and security focus during the blessed month of Ramadan, intensify the intelligence effort, protect vital sites and infrastructure,” stressing that strengthening the role of our armed forces and improving their performance requires exerting more effort, and dedicating the latest technical and training methods and means. .

    During the meeting, it was decided to "adopt measures to enhance military capabilities and capabilities, prepare and complete model camps outside cities, as well as keep pace with technological development in the armament aspect, and enhance participation in international exhibitions and global activities in this regard."


    The meeting approved a set of decisions aimed at enhancing the performance level of air bases and rehabilitating them in all respects, to be among the best air bases for the armies of the world, rehabilitating the stores of currently used equipment and upgrading their specifications as needed, as well as intensifying the enhanced procedures for the rest of the supportive and basic types to raise the security and military performance. .
