Informed political sources revealed, on Thursday, that the youth activities of the Al-Halbousi Alliance have been frozen in Diyala.
The sources said in an interview with "Al-Information", "Al-Halbousi's coalition relied on the formation of multiple youth associations before the elections in an effort to win votes in multiple constituencies, especially Baquba, while giving promises of support in various forms."
And she added, "Although Al-Halbousi's coalition achieved 4 seats in the Diyala elections, these youth associations have been remarkably neglected in recent months, stressing that they have been frozen at the present time, according to the available information."
She indicated that "Al-Halbousi's coalition has greatly lost its momentum in Diyala, and there is resentment in several regions towards the coalition's abandonment of its promises of support, especially for the youth segment."
Al-Halbousi’s alliance suffers from great problems in Diyala in light of the aggravation of its crisis with the Khanjar alliance and the lack of any joint coordination recently, even though they are in the alliance of sovereignty.
