Al-Sadr directs the closure of all institutions of the movement, except for six

Shafaq News / The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, directed on Sunday the closure of all Sadrist movement institutions in Iraq, with the exception of only six.
Al-Sadr's media office stated, in a statement received by Shafak News Agency, that "the decision to close the current institutions at the current stage came based on Al-Sadr's directives."
The office added, "Al-Sadr excluded from the closure decision, the shrine with all its administrative joints, the (Martyr Al-Sadr) office in Najaf, Al-Sadr's private office, the (Martyr Al-Sadr's Heritage Authority), and the museum, in addition to the Al-Bunyan Al-Marsous project.
Al-Sadr had directed, earlier today, the deputies of the Sadrist bloc in the Iraqi parliament to hand over their resignation to the speaker of the parliament, Muhammad al-Halbousi, while he thanked his allies in the "Save the Homeland" coalition and informed them that they "are in a solution."
Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi signed the resignations of the Sadrist bloc’s deputies, in the presence of Parliamentary Bloc leader Hassan al-Adhari, and then commented, “Their resignations took place reluctantly,” referring to efforts made to dissuade al-Sadr from this step.
