Al-Taiban said in a tweet via Twitter, followed by Alsumaria News, "To all respected media, I announce my withdrawal from the Coordination Framework Alliance, and I declare myself an independent politician, representing her in what I announce and present according to what I see fit on the Iraqi political scene."
He added, "My ideas and opinions represent me and do not represent any other party."
