Shafaq News / The State Real Estate Department in Dhi Qar Governorate announced the approval of the Federal Ministry of Finance to allocate a plot of land for a "waste sorting and recycling" factory.
A document issued by the Ministry of Finance, obtained by Shafak News Agency, showed that "Finance Minister Ali Allawi agreed to allocate a plot of land with an area of 87 acres for a waste sorting and recycling plant in Dhi Qar Governorate," noting that "the plot will be presented as an investment opportunity."
The document stated, "The Ministry of Finance will not bear any financial or legal consequences in the event of the objection of any of the sectoral bodies, including the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers / the Land Allocation Committee with gender correction."
In turn, the agency's correspondent indicated that "this plant will be the first of its kind in Iraq, and it will provide more than 4,000 job opportunities for the people of Dhi Qar Governorate."
