    [size=45]The official in charge of the Iraq file at the headquarters of the Kurdish leader, Massoud Barzani, announced, on Monday, that the position of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, with regard to its candidate for the position of the presidency, is the current Minister of Interior in the Kurdistan Regional Government, Reber Ahmed.[/size]
    [size=45]Arafat Karam said in a tweet on his Twitter account: "Our position is consistent with regard to our candidate for the presidency."[/size]
    [size=45]This announcement comes a few hours after the coordination framework announced its candidate for prime minister, Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani.[/size]
    [size=45]The Iraqi parliament had failed during the last period for the third time to choose a new president for the country, after 220 deputies out of 329 could not vote to choose the president, as stipulated by the constitution in force since 2005.[/size]
    [size=45]More than eight months after the early parliamentary elections in October 2021, Iraq is still without a new president, and therefore without a new prime minister to assume the executive authority, and the political path is often complex and long in Iraq due to sharp divisions, multiple crises and the influence of groups armed window.[/size]
