    [size=45][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]A member of the General Authority of the Wisdom Movement, Rahim Al-Aboudi, announced that the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq, Jeanine Plasschaert, presented an initiative to resolve the political crisis, the general framework of which is to hold a conference for dialogue under the auspices of the United Nations, noting that the expected visit of Hadi Al-Amiri to Muqtada Al-Sadr , linked to the results of the forthcoming visit of Plasschaert to the coordination framework.

    Rahim Al-Aboudi indicated today, Saturday (August 6, 2022), that Jeanine Plaschaert's visit to Muqtada Al-Sadr came as part of an initiative to resolve the political crisis in Iraq, explaining that Plaschaert is currently mediating between the Shiite parties.[/size]
    [size=45]He added that the general framework of the initiative is to hold a dialogue conference supervised by the United Nations, in which all Shiite, Sunni and Kurdish parties participate.[/size]
    [size=45]Blackshart had visited the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, at his home in Al-Hanana district in Najaf, on Friday (August 5, 2022), noting that she had held a good meeting with Al-Sadr, during which they discussed the importance of finding a solution to the political crisis.[/size]
    [size=45]A member of the General Authority of the Wisdom Movement, indicated that Plasschaert is scheduled to convey Al-Sadr’s response to the initiative, orally or through a visit, to the coordination framework within two days, indicating that the coordination framework will then hold a meeting to discuss Al-Sadr’s response.[/size]
    [size=45]Rahim al-Aboudi stressed that Hadi al-Amiri's visit to Muqtada al-Sadr depends on the results of Blackshart's visit to the coordinating framework, as it will be decided whether or not the visit will take place in light of Muqtada al-Sadr's response.[/size]
    [size=45]Baghdad witnessed mass demonstrations on Wednesday (July 27, 2022), during which the demonstrators stormed the Iraqi parliament building, and withdrew after the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, asked them to do so. Then, on Saturday (July 30, 2022), the demonstrators returned to the Green Zone and the parliament building. And start an open sit-in.[/size]
    [size=45]These developments came after the coordination framework announced on (July 25, 2022) the nomination of Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani for the position of Prime Minister, which was rejected by the Sadrist movement.[/size]
