     Baghdad today - Erbil
The President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, confirmed today, Sunday, that the differences between Baghdad and Erbil are not so great that they are difficult to resolve.
Barzani said in a press conference held today to shed light on the course of his visit to Munich, Germany and followed by (Baghdad Today), that "the differences and outstanding issues between Erbil and Baghdad are not of such a large size that it is difficult to resolve," stressing that "ISIS can still undermine security and stability in the country.”
He added, "The Munich conference represented an opportunity for the Kurdistan region to express its views and ideas naturally and communicate them to its partners in the international community, without many protocols."
He continued, "The meetings focused on our situation, and focused more on our relations with Baghdad, which was a main focus in all meetings," noting that "the international community, in general, wants to help us solve problems between the Kurdistan region and Baghdad."
"We have confirmed to all partners that the Kurdistan region supports the prime minister and the current government, and wants to resolve differences with Baghdad within the framework of the constitution," he said.
The President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, had met with the Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani, on Friday evening, on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference, while the meeting discussed the latest developments in the dialogue between Erbil and Baghdad to solve the outstanding problems between them, the economic conditions and the issue of the Iraqi federal budget for the year 2023.
