Announced that the Central Intelligence Agency on Friday that the number of fighters 'organization the Islamic State' in Syria and Iraq (Daash) 'ranges between 20 and 31.5 thousand fighters', according to new estimates.
The spokesperson for 'CIA' that 'recent attribute this increase to the process of recruiting more momentum since June last year after victories field and the declaration of a state of succession', in the vast region on both sides of the Syrian-Iraqi border.
Comes this statement the day after the announcement of President Barack Obama announced the launch of a campaign 'relentless' against 'the organization of the Islamic State' including the implementation of air strikes in Syria, as in Iraq, in addition pledged ten Arab countries are the Gulf countries, Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, and Iraq's commitment to work with the States United to fight (Daash), and at the conclusion of a regional meeting held in Jeddah in the presence of Secretary of State John Kerry.
