    The National Security Adviser, Qassem Al-Araji, visited Nineveh Governorate, accompanied by the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Mr. Anthony Guterres.

    The media office of the National Security Adviser said in a statement received by Iraq Today, that "it included the delegation that accompanied Al-Araji on the visit, in addition to the Secretary-General of the United Nations, the UN representative in Iraq, Jeanine Blaskhart, and a high-ranking government delegation, which included the Minister of Migration and Displacement, Evan Faiq Jabro, the head of the National Security Agency, Hamid Al-Shatri, the deputy commander of joint operations, Lieutenant General Qais Al-Muhammadawi , and the representative of the Prime Minister, Zaidan Khalaf.He

    added:

    The Secretary-General of the United Nations and his accompanying delegation held a meeting with the government delegation and representatives of international organizations working in the Al-Jada'a Center for Community Rehabilitation.

    Al-Araji confirmed, in a speech during his visit to the Al-Jada'a Center in Nineveh Governorate, that "the visit of the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, to the Al-Jada'a Center came to see closely the conditions of the displaced," noting that "Guterres had listened to a briefing on the great efforts made The Iraqi government has made efforts to return families who were in difficult circumstances and integrate them into society," stressing that "Iraq is striving to embrace all its children," pointing out that "the United Nations stands firmly to assist Iraq in this humanitarian aspect, which is the duty of the international community towards Iraq, after it The Iraqis presented their best sons, in defense of the homeland and sanctities,in response to the fatwa of the rational reference.

    Al-Araji added, according to the statement, that “the process of reconstruction and the return and rehabilitation of the displaced requires an international position and the assistance of international organizations to finish this humanitarian mission,” noting that “achieving security and stability is not only beneficial to Iraq, but to the whole world.”

    For his part, the Secretary-General of the United Nations said, in a speech during the visit, that "his visit to Nineveh Governorate, specifically the Al-Jadaa Center for Community Rehabilitation, is of great importance, to see the conditions of the displaced, noting that most of these displaced are women and children.
