The Secretary-General of the Watan Party, Yazan Mishaan Al-Jubouri, revealed, on Monday, the details of the dispute between the Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia'a Al-Sudani, and Parliament, Muhammad Al-Halbousi, indicating that the Prime Minister prevented Al-Halbousi from disposing of individual powers as he was previously.

Al-Jubouri said in a televised interview, followed by Al-Maalouma, that "Al-Halbousi wants to be a match for the prime minister and not for the coordination framework, so that he can impose some personal demands."
He added, "The Speaker of Parliament is trying to twist the arm of the government, because he was prevented by the Prime Minister from extending the powers of the executive authority."
He explained that "there is no justification for re-establishing sectarian alignments at the present time, and the coordination framework was established to stand against a project that wanted to monopolize power." End25
