    On Thursday, Labor Minister Ahmed Al-Asadi announced the launch of the second phase of the major search campaign for the poorest regions.
    A statement by the ministry stated, "The Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Ahmed Al-Asadi, launched the second phase of the major social research campaign for the poorest areas and the search for the disadvantaged who must be reached by the state's hand in order to lift injustice and grievance on them."
    And she added, "This came during his visit to the Al-Ma'mal area, east of Baghdad, accompanied by social researchers," noting that "a search was conducted for families applying for inclusion, while the Minister of Labor considered the requests of a number of citizens with disabilities and social protection, and directed that they be completed by the concerned departments according to the contexts." applicable.”
    Al-Asadi confirmed during a press conference held in the region that "the major social search campaign was launched in search of the corrupt and transgressors on the social protection network," pointing out that "the money recovered from the transgressors will go to the deserving poor."
    He explained that "163,000 transgressors on social assistance have been expelled since the launch of the campaign," noting that "the campaign will continue to search for the corrupt and transgressors in order for the sums of social protection to be for the poor."
    He stated that "the House of Representatives will soon vote on the law of soft, income-generating loans," explaining that "the loans will be launched in new ceilings, starting from 20 million dinars as a minimum, up to 100 million dinars as a maximum." 
    And he stated, "If the lending law is voted on, the Ministry of Labor will begin its plan to convert loans into real projects," pointing out that "the plan that was developed for this year is that loans granted to at least 20,000 projects open to young job seekers." .
    And he continued, "We will launch every year allocating 400 billion dinars for loans to establish real projects, as we have three other projects in the House of Representatives that are in the process of being approved, the most important of which is the retirement and social security law for workers," noting that "the social security law will guarantee workers in the private sector equal rights and privileges, Or exceed the rights and privileges of employees in the public sector.
