    The former member of the Oil and Energy Committee, Ghaleb Muhammad Ali, confirmed on Sunday that the regional government had lost its plans to control the oil file and export imports, pointing out that the Barzani government could no longer export oil after the decline in production in the fields belonging to the region.

    Ali said in an interview with Al-Maalouma, that "passing the budget, especially Articles 13 and 14, which came in the interest of the people of the region, and on the contrary, the Kurdistan government has lost after the failure of its plan to acquire oil and its revenues, as well as the imports of the border crossings."
    He added, "The people of the region stand by managing the federal government's control over oil and its revenues, in order to ensure control over production, exports and expenditures in the region."
