A statement from Al-Sudani's office, received by Al-Sumaria News, stated that the latter "made a visit to the headquarters of the Joint Operations Command in the capital, Baghdad, and was received by the Deputy Commander of Operations and a number of security leaders, as he extended congratulations and blessings to the sons of the armed forces and all employees of the security services on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha." Mubarak, praising their great efforts and great sacrifices in order to establish security and stability throughout the country.
Al-Sudani was briefed, at the headquarters of the security movements, and via television screens, on the implementation of the security plans taken to provide a safe atmosphere during the Eid days, in Baghdad and the provinces.
During the visit, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces stressed "the need to implement security duties smoothly and adhere to professionalism, and the importance of activating the information effort and addressing everything that disturbs the security and comfort of citizens."
